Block code matrix in CMS

CMS enables you to define up to 27 block codes (A–Z and space) on ARML07 and ARML08. Each block code can indicate special conditions and automatic processing activities that you can apply at the account level. You can apply up to two block codes to an account (BLK CODE 1 / 2 on ARMB01).

When you define the block codes for a logo, you assign a priority to each block code PRI on ARML07 and ARML08). Since you can apply two block codes to an account, the priority indicates to CMS, which assigned block code to activate first.

CMS enables you to define up to four letter codes for each block code (LTR 1 to TR 4 on ARML09 and ARML10). CMS sends the letter codes to CTA or LTS to generate the letters whenever a block code condition has been in effect for a specific number of days (DAY 1 to DAY 4 on ARML09 and ARML10). For example, CMS sends the letter code in LTR 1 when the block code has been in effect for the number of days in DAY 1. CMS sends the letter code in LTR 2 when the block code has been in effect for the number of days in DAY 2, and so on.
